Chez’lene

There’s something special about creating with your best friend. It never feels like work; it feels like an adventure we get to dream up together. This time we wanted to do something earthy and woodland, the kind of shoot where you can almost hear Hozier playing in the background.

I had never been to Matea Park before, but as soon as we arrived I knew it was the perfect spot. The trees seemed to stretch forever and there was this quiet stillness that made everything feel more intentional. We decided to wait for golden hour, letting the sun dip low enough to give us that soft, cinematic glow.

When I look back at the photos I love them all, but there’s something about the landscape shots that really stands out to me. They don’t just feel like pictures; they feel like moments pulled from a movie, frozen just long enough to remind you how beautiful this world can be.

Thank you Chez’lene for always trusting my vision and bringing your own magic to every shoot we do together. This one is definitely a favorite.
